Class Descriptions

Barre

This traditional-style barre class is a low-impact, full-body workout that incorporates ballet, pilates, yoga and strength training exercises. Muscle groups are worked to exhaustion with isometric movement in small ranges of motion.

Mat Sculpt

Mat Sculpt is a low-impact, total-body workout inspired by barre and mat pilates. Muscles are worked to exhaustion using bodyweight or minimal props, in exercises that emphasize pelvic control and deep core engagement.

HIIT

Designed to burn more calories in less time, HIIT combines large, compound exercises with bursts of high-intensity, cardiovascular movement. Take the strength intervals at your own pace so you can really dial up the power during the cardio bursts!

About Erin

Erin is a personal trainer and fitness teacher on Nantucket Island. Her start in the fitness industry was in Seattle, 2018, where she became a certified Bar Method instructor. Growing up in Denver, Erin loved visiting family on Nantucket. A round of corporate layoffs inspired her to relocate in 2022, and she became a year-round island resident soon after. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, and teaches barre and bootcamp at Studio Nantucket.

Strength & Core

Strength & Core is a class focused on building muscle, balance and core strength. It is a full body workout.

About Suzanne

Suzanne Davis is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator with over 30 years of experience as a fitness instructor. Through the years she has taught everything from dance aerobics to step, Zumba, spin, barre and strength classes. She feels very fortunate to be able to blend both her knowledge of nutrition and fitness to help others pursue wellness.

Core & Balance

Core Balance Training guides you through a structured progression of reconnecting you back to your deep core, which is your center of power. We reprogram your movement at a fundamental level to originate from the core. We do stretching, core, weights, and balance to hit all areas of the body.

About Elle

Elle Foley is a yoga teacher, marathon runner, and artist. She embarked on this journey 30 years ago running and stretching to become fit in mind, body and spirit. Her students range from all ages and experience. She teaches private and group classes, helping you on your fitness journey. Yoga will increase focus, flexibility, strength, balance, core, and more Slow down, enjoy island living and embrace every day with gratitude.

Slow Flow Yoga

A gentle, mindful practice that combines slow, fluid movements with deep, controlled breathing. We'll focus on alignment, body awareness, and longer holds to build strength and flexibility. Suitable for all levels and those interested in a grounding experience.

About Nicole

Nicole Buckley has been teaching many styles of yoga for the past five years. Her approach emphasizes alignment, mindfulness, and creating an inclusive space for all levels to explore their practice. She brings a playful and light-hearted energy to her practice as she guides her students to connect with their bodies and breath!
