Transportation to the Island and The Nantucket Hotel is convenient, as fast ferries depart to/from Nantucket throughout the late fall and winter holiday period, take only an hour, and make getting to the Island fun. Once on-Island, we provide complimentary pick-up service directly to The Nantucket Hotel and will also transport you back to the ferries upon your departure (to pre-reserve, click here).

Thanksgiving Special at The Nantucket – November 21-25, 2018

We’ll be serving up a lavish Thanksgiving buffet feast, once again – complete with all the trimmings – in our Grand Ballroom at The Nantucket Hotel on November 22nd. Join us for a holiday extravaganza with seatings from 12:00 (Noon) through 6:00 p.m., live music by Mollie Glazer and Isaiah Williams from 12:00 (Noon) through 7:00 p.m, antique fire truck rides, and our complimentary Kids’ Deck activity program. After your children are through eating Thanksgiving dinner with you, drop them off in our fun, supervised activity program and we’ll entertain them while you finish dessert or enjoy a cocktail by our glowing fire pits.

  • Prices for our Thanksgiving buffet feast are $78.00 per adult; $35.00 per child (ages 5 to 12 years); and Free for under age 5.
  • Holiday weekend activities will include: the 17th Annual Cold Turkey Plunge at Children’s Beach on Thanksgiving Day (warm up after the Plunge by indulging in our a la carte hot chocolate, cider, specialty drinks, light bites, and signature clam chowder offerings, starting at 10:30 a.m.; see Menu); the Nantucket Tree-Lighting Ceremony at 5:00 p.m. on November 23rd, featuring over 100 brightly decorated Christmas trees and festive community caroling; and the Festival of Wreaths on Wednesday, November 21st, Friday, November 23rd, Saturday, November 24th, and Sunday, November 25th at the Nantucket Whaling Museum.
  • Join us for our popular Front Porch with Live Music and Cocktails event on Friday and Saturday evenings, November 23rd and 24th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
